SynthX is lead generation for Amazon agencies. Every week it publishes mid-market Amazon brands whose public pages show problems an agency can fix. Each lead arrives with its findings, the dated screenshot behind every finding, a pain score out of 100 that shows how it was worked out, and a pitch you can send in one click. This post follows the whole flow: how a lead is made, what it holds, how the week is filtered to what you sell, and how a lead becomes a report your prospect can open.

The short version

500+ new leads every week, each run through 18 pain checks and published only with a dated screenshot behind its findings. Agency Starter is $79 a month, Agency Pro is by contact, and you can start with a 7-day trial.

Who SynthX leads are for

SynthX leads are for agencies and service providers that sell work on Amazon: advertising, marketplace operations and brand protection, reviews and CX, and creative. A lead is a brand whose public pages already show a problem in one of those areas, found before you have written the first email.

The brands are mid-market, $10K–$1.5M a month, and every size is an estimate. The weekly list spans 6 categories and 70+ subcategories, with 10,000+ products tracked.

How a lead is made: public pages, 18 checks, one gate

SynthX reads public pages only: Amazon listings, offers and search results, the Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency and the brand's own website. Nothing private is read, and nothing comes from a seller's account.

Each brand goes through 18 pain checks. A check is a rule with a threshold: it reads a fact off a public page and either finds something or finds nothing. When it finds something, SynthX saves a screenshot of the page it read, with the date it was taken, and writes the finding up in plain words with a severity of critical, high, medium or low.

The findings feed a pain score. A brand that then passes the four-part publish gate is published as a lead, and a brand that fails any part is not.

The checks, group by group

The 18 checks fall into the four areas an agency sells. Each line gives the check's name, then what it reads on a public page.

Advertising (2 checks)

  • Rival holds the first sponsored result: Another advertiser has the first sponsored result on a search for the brand's name, within the top 20 results, while the brand's own ads are live.
  • Rival ad on the brand's own search: A rival's sponsored result shows on a search for the brand's name while the brand's own ads are live.

Marketplace ops & brand protection (9 checks)

  • Another seller holds the Buy Box: A seller other than the brand's own account holds the Buy Box on a listing.
  • No Buy Box winner: A listing has offers but none of them is featured.
  • Undercut by another seller: A new offer from another seller is at least 10% below the brand's own price.
  • Crowded listing: 3 or more other sellers have offers on the same listing.
  • Out of stock: A listing shows as out of stock while the brand's ads are live.
  • Nearly out of stock: A listing has 10 units or fewer left while the brand's ads are live.
  • Long delivery estimate: Amazon shows delivery more than 7 days out while the brand's ads are live.
  • Price differs from the brand's own store: A matching product is priced 5% or more apart on Amazon and on the brand's own store.
  • Best Sellers Rank sliding: A listing's main-category rank is 25% or more worse than on a read at least 3 days earlier.

Reviews & CX (4 checks)

  • Low star rating: A listing the brand advertises is under 4.0 stars on 50 or more ratings, or under 4.3 on 100 or more.
  • Few ratings on a selling listing: A listing the brand advertises has fewer than 30 ratings and sells 30 or more units a month.
  • Recent 1–2 star reviews: 3 or more of a listing's dated reviews are 1–2 stars from the last 30 days, or 2 when they are a quarter of the dated reviews.
  • 1–2 star share rising: A listing's share of 1–2 star ratings is up 1.5 points or more between two reads at least 3 days apart.

Creative (3 checks)

  • No A+ content: A listing has no A+ content.
  • Thin image gallery: A listing has fewer than 6 images.
  • No product video: A listing has no video in its gallery.

Every check is a fact on a page anyone can open, which is why a lead can show its working.

The pain score: eight signals out of 100

The checks feed eight signals, and each signal carries a weight. The weights add up to 100, so a brand's pain score is a number out of 100 that you can work out from the lead itself.

  • Branded-search rival while ads are live: up to 12 points
  • Ads into a weak listing: up to 14 points
  • Buy Box and offer pressure: up to 16 points
  • Stock gap while ads are live: up to 14 points
  • Recent 1-2 star reviews: up to 12 points
  • Price gap between Amazon and the brand's store: up to 8 points
  • Rank momentum: up to 14 points
  • Listing gaps while advertising: up to 10 points

Most signals scale with the severity of their worst finding: in full for a critical or high finding, three quarters for medium and half for low. A signal that finds nothing adds nothing. Every lead lists all of the signals, what each one found and the points it added.

Pain score68 of 100

The weights add up to 100. Fictional brand, drawn to show the format.

Pain is not the only thing that orders the week. A lead's priority counts pain for 55%, the room there is to help for 25% and how fresh the findings are for 20%. The room to help is shown as Opportunity, also out of 100, and priority tells you when to call.

The gate: no screenshot, no lead

A brand reaches an agency only if it passes every part of the publish gate.

  • Ads are running: At least 10 active ads in the Meta Ad Library, or a Google ad, or a sponsored result on Amazon for the brand's own name.
  • Enough listings read: 12 listings read, or all of them when the brand has fewer.
  • A finding with a screenshot: At least one finding the check is confident in, with a dated screenshot behind it.
  • A claims check: Nothing in the copy says more than the screenshots show: no figures for what a brand spends, sells or earns.

The proof rule is the one that matters most. A finding without a dated screenshot is not published, and neither is a brand that has no finding SynthX is confident in.

Estimates stay estimates

A brand's monthly revenue is shown as an estimate, and a lead says so beside the figure. Treat it as a size band, not a number to quote. Separately, the claims check keeps the written findings to what the screenshots show: no figures for what a brand spends, sells or earns.

The publish gateNo screenshot, no lead
  1. Ads are running

At least 10 active ads in the Meta Ad Library, or a Google ad, or a sponsored result on Amazon for the brand's own name.

  2. Enough listings read

12 listings read, or all of them when the brand has fewer.

  3. A finding with a screenshot

At least one finding the check is confident in, with a dated screenshot behind it.

  4. A claims check

Nothing in the copy says more than the screenshots show: no figures for what a brand spends, sells or earns.

Every check holds: the brand is published. One fails: it stays out.

What a lead holds

Open a lead and it is laid out in the order you would use it. First the pain score, with every signal and the points it added. Then the issues, each with its screenshot and the date it was taken. Then the problems listing by listing, the ads on Meta, Google and Amazon as their public pages show them, who sells the brand and where its Brand Store and website are, and which way rank and reviews are moving.

In the app a lead opens on Overview, with Issues, Playbook, Listings and Research beside it. Playbook holds the plays and offers that fit what was found.

Every lead shows the day it was last read, and every screenshot shows the day it was taken. A direction, such as rank or the share of 1–2 star ratings, is called only from two reads at least 3 days apart.

A lead links the people SynthX finds for a brand by name, title and public profile, with where they were found. Emails and phone numbers are not part of a lead.

Research on a lead: brand, seller and product level

Beyond a lead's findings you can open the research behind it. It is read at three levels, so you can start from the brand and go as deep as the listing.

  • Brand: the brand's own store and the platform it runs on, whether its Meta ads are active, and who holds the first sponsored result on a search for its name.
  • Seller: the seller account behind the brand and its Brand Store, and who holds the Buy Box on its listings, marked as Holds the Buy Box, Also sells or Changed hands.
  • Product: the problems on each listing, with its price, rating and rank, and where a matching product is priced differently on the brand's own store than on Amazon.

Each item says where it was read and when it was checked, and every finding keeps its dated screenshot. Agency Starter includes research on up to 200 leads a month, and Agency Pro has no cap.

A weekly batch built around what you sell

Tell SynthX three things once, and each week's leads are filtered to you: the categories you work in, the size of brand you want and the services you sell.

Size is one of four bands, counted as a year's revenue:

  • Emerging: Under $500K a year
  • Growing: $500K to $1.5M
  • Established: $1.5M to $5M
  • Large: $5M and up

Services are the kinds of work you can choose:

  • Listing & content: Titles, images, bullets and A+
  • Advertising: PPC on listings that already convert
  • Full account management: Bigger catalogs, ongoing work
  • Product launches: Newer brands still building reviews

Each week the new leads that match join your list with their proof, strongest first. A lead is tagged Strong match when what SynthX found falls in the areas you sell and there is plenty to fix, not only a flag.

The brand list has up to four lists: For you, the brands that match your answers; All brands; With signals, the brands that have findings; and Do not pitch. Sort by pain, priority, revenue or brand name, and filter by search, category, subcategory, size, revenue, ASIN count or seller ID. Save the combination you use most as a view. Send brands you will never pitch to Do not pitch, one at a time or several at once, and Undo if you slip.

From a lead to a pitch in one click

Open a lead and press Generate pitch. A published lead already has its findings and screenshots, so the brief is ready at once. It is plain text for an email or a chat message, and Copy pitch copies it. It is built when you open it, so it is always current, and nothing is stored.

The brief follows the same order every time:

  • The seller account and the Brand Store the pitch is aimed at.
  • Lead with: the finding to open the conversation on, in the words of its talk track.
  • Ads we saw: the channels the brand's ads were seen on, never a count of ads.
  • What we saw: up to three problems, each with the date it was seen.
  • Where to start: the play that fits, with its offer and its steps.
  • Where we looked: how many of the brand's Amazon listings and public pages were read, and when they were last read.
  • A closing line with the day it was written: Per our estimates; it may not match Amazon.

When you want more than a brief, Build full seller report reads every listing and writes the report. It takes a few minutes and runs in steps you can watch:

  • Find the seller
  • List every listing
  • Read each listing
  • Pick the listings that matter
  • Read Amazon's unit badges
  • Check offers, Buy Box and stock
  • Compare images with the best rivals
  • Check every figure
  • Write the report

A recent report opens straight away, without being built again. You and the seller do not read the same report. Your view is written for the pitch: it opens with the pitch angle, ranks what to lead with, and has a Playbook by service line, with every finding's fix, who does it, what to measure and what to say. The copy the seller opens has the same findings in plain terms and none of that coaching. It reads:

  • What we found
  • What's holding sales back
  • Listing by listing
  • Every fix, by area
  • What we couldn't see
  • How we checked

Share it under your agency's name

A report becomes a link with one switch. Share this report makes a read-only copy with your agency's name, logo and tagline that anyone with the link can open. The copy is frozen, so it does not change on its own, and your talk track and notes stay private. Turn the switch off and every link stops.

Under the report the seller sees your proposal, set once in Settings: the ways to start you offer, your case studies, a booking link and a contact email, with a 30, 60 and 90 day plan taken from the report. Its buttons are Book a call and Email us.

For each person you send it to, add a named link under Track a recipient, such as Alice at Acme, and SynthX shows you when that person opens it. You also see how many times the report was opened and when, and whether Book a call or Email us was clicked. A report can also be saved as a PDF.

What the agency sees after sharing a report. Sample figures, drawn to show the format.

If you build a newer report later, the panel says A newer report is ready, and Update link puts it behind the same address. Before an older report goes out, SynthX reads its biggest listings again and compares the price, star rating, number of ratings, stock and Buy Box holder with what the report says. If something has changed, it names the first few changes and asks you to run the report again, or you can choose Share anyway.

Pitch a seller, not only a brand

Not every pitch starts from a brand in the list. The Seller reports tab holds the sellers you choose. Choose Add a seller, enter a seller ID or paste a storefront link, and press Build report. The report appears in your list when it is ready, and every seller you add stays there. Only you can see them.

A report estimates each listing's sales from public data, and says so. If the seller shares their Business Report, you can check those estimates against the real figures. Choose Add a Business Report and upload the CSV from Seller Central (Reports, Business Reports, By ASIN, Detail Page Sales and Traffic by Child Item), enter the dates it covers and confirm you may share it. The file is read in your browser and only the figures from it are sent. SynthX then lays what each listing really sold beside the range it showed and says whether the range held: The public ranges held, mostly held, did not hold, or Not enough to check the ranges.

Inbound leads from your own website

Leads can also come to you. The inbound audit runs on your own website: a visitor pastes an ASIN and a work email, the audit runs in about a minute under your agency's name, and the lead, with its top issues, comes to you. It carries your agency's name and logo. Agency Starter includes limited access to inbound leads. Ask for a demo to see it.

Then deliver the fix

Winning the account is the start of the work. For the work itself SynthX also has its listing tools: diagnose a listing against its competitors with a synthetic buyer panel, prove the fix, and watch it every week.

What SynthX leads do not do

  • They read public pages only. Nothing private is read, and nothing comes from a seller's account.
  • Their findings put no figure on what a brand spends, sells or earns. Revenue appears only as a size estimate, and a lead says so.
  • They carry no email addresses or phone numbers. People are shown by name, title and public profile.
  • They do not treat a finding as a verdict. A finding is a fact on a page, with a screenshot and a date, and a reason to look closer. A pitch should say what was seen and when.
  • They send nothing for you. You copy the pitch or share the link yourself.

Plans and the 7-day trial

Agency Starter is $79 a month. It includes access to all leads, research on up to 200 leads a month, pitches for up to 10 brands or sellers a month, and limited access to inbound leads.

Agency Pro is for agencies that run their pipeline on it, and its price is by contact. On top of Agency Starter it adds unlimited access to researched leads, white-label setup, early access to each new feature, support with a 24-hour SLA, on-demand category research, and on-demand seller research.

Both plans open the same researched leads. To start, request a 7-day trial on the pricing page. SynthX sets up your categories, the size of brand and the services you sell by email, and your first batch follows.

Frequently asked questions

What is a SynthX lead?
A brand that has been published with its findings, the dated screenshot behind each one, a pain score out of 100 and a pitch written from them. A list gives you names and revenue. A lead gives you the reason to call: the problem, the screenshot that proves it, and the pitch written from it.
How is the pain score worked out?
Eight signals, weighted 12, 14, 16, 14, 12, 8, 14, 10, add up to 100. A signal that finds something adds its weight, scaled by how severe the finding is. A lead shows every signal, what it found and the points it added.
What does no screenshot, no lead mean?
A finding needs a dated screenshot of the public page that shows it. A finding without one is not published, and neither is a brand that has no finding SynthX is confident in.
Where does the data come from?
Public pages only: Amazon listings, offers and search results, the Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency and the brand's own website. Nothing private is read, and nothing from a seller's account.
How fresh is a lead?
Every lead shows the day it was last read, and every screenshot shows the day it was taken. A direction, such as rank or the share of 1–2 star ratings, is called only from two reads at least 3 days apart.
Are the sizes exact?
No. A brand's monthly revenue is an estimate, and a lead says so beside the figure. Treat it as a size band, not a number to quote. If a seller shares their Business Report, you can check the estimates against what each listing really sold.
Do I get contact details?
A lead links the people SynthX finds for a brand by name, title and public profile, with where they were found. Emails and phone numbers are not part of a lead.
What does the report carry, and what does the brand see?
The report carries your agency's name and logo, each finding with its screenshot, the listings one by one and a pitch. The brand sees a read-only copy with your branding. Your talk track and notes stay private, and the copy is frozen, so it does not change on its own. You see when it is opened and clicked, or you can save it as a PDF.
Can I pitch a seller instead of a brand?
Yes. On the Seller reports tab, choose Add a seller, enter a seller ID or a storefront link and build the report. Only you can see the sellers you add.
What is the inbound audit?
An audit that runs on your own website. A visitor pastes an ASIN and a work email, the audit runs in about a minute under your agency's name, and the lead, with its top issues, comes to you. Agency Starter includes limited access. Ask for a demo to see it.
What do the plans include?
Agency Starter is $79 a month: access to all leads, research on up to 200 leads a month, pitches for up to 10 brands or sellers a month, and limited access to inbound leads. Agency Pro is by contact and adds unlimited access to researched leads, white-label setup, early access to each new feature, support with a 24-hour SLA, on-demand category research, and on-demand seller research. You can start with a 7-day trial.
